The messages sent by him/her will go to your Spam folder if you block someone on your Google account. Interestingly, Google also allows you to unblock the user if you have blocked someone by mistake. Block someone on Gmail on an Android device

  1. Open the HOME screen of your Android phone or tablet
  2. Select the GMAIL app and navigate to the INBOX
  3. Now you need to open the concerned message
  4. Go to the top right of the message and click on MORE
  5. Then click on Block [sender]

Block someone on Gmail on Mac or iOS device

You are not supposed to block a contact on Gmail using a Mac, iPhone, or iPad.   2. To start it, you need to open the message that is required to be filtered
  3. Go to the end portion and click on the icon with the three dots
  4. The drop-down menu will open then – choose Filter messages in this menu
  5. A window will then appear where you are supposed to select Create filter
  6. Go to the options and check the Delete It box
  7. Move downwards and click Create filter
  8. Then the Delete It filter will be applied to all incoming messages from that particular person

Unblock a user who is blocked

You may ask the practice of unblocking a person who is blocked by you intentionally or unintentionally. Or you might look for undo the process after a change of mind. Thousands of users use the unblock feature after some time. To do this, you first need to open your Inbox and click on its gear icon. A drop-down menu will open after you have clicked on the great icon. You will now have to select Settings from the drop-down menu.
